The Herbalist

During this year, I had fun to work on this personal project which I'm really happy with. I wanted to explore a bit more the 2D-3D workflow, using a 3D modeled & textured foreground with a 2D handpainted background, both mixed together in comp.
I loved working on this project because it allowed me to do all its aspects by myself, from first sketch to final compositing, and I really enjoyed each part of the process, whether it was modeling, texturing, matte painting for the background, lighting and compositing.

I can't wait to start a new small project like this one to keep practicing !
